Lonesome River Band is proud to announce they have signed with Josh Trivett and Peter Keiser of Moonstruck Management for exclusive booking and management representation. ”We are so excited to form this partnership with the Lonesome River Band. The 30 year history and legacy of LRB is a huge piece of the story board of bluegrass music. The progressive style of LRB has always kept them at the unique cutting edge of the genre, and created albums that will stand the test of time. We are excited about 2012 being the 30th anniversary and the future together of Moonstruck Management and the Lonesome River Band as a team,” said Josh Trivett.

Sammy Shelor echoed the sentiment by saying, “Lonesome River Band is very excited and confident that this partnership with Moonstruck Management will open many doors in this, our 30th year!

Moonstruck Management is a modern music management company that focuses on the country and bluegrass music business, incorporating artist development, management, growth, and booking into one controlled business. Peter Keiser comes from a very successful and forward-thinking background as Vice President of Marketing for the famed restaurant chain Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. During his tenure there, Keiser grew an extremely creative and thriving music program, showcasing artists through co-branded products that were marketed and sold only at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Josh Trivett comes from outside the music industry with a background of 13 years in professional golf as a Tour player, National Spokesperson and Senior Vice President of Tour Operations at two different successful golf club companies. After his departure from the golf industry, Trivett stepped into the music business by managing famed bluegrass legend Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, resulting in increased visibility of bluegrass music to audiences worldwide.

Last week, Rural Rhythm Records released Lonesome River Band’s new album, CHRONOLOGY, VOLUME ONE celebrating the band’s 30th Anniversary. The album is the first of three 8 song EPS releasing this year commemorating the band’s thirty year milestone. The band kicks off their 2012 CHRONOLOGY TOUR on March 17 in Burnsville, NC. For additional tour information see LRB’s tour page.
